Now that you have prepared your materials and removed any loose dirt and dust from your fabric blinds you can finish cleaning them off.

If the material can be submerged in water then follow the simple cleaning procedures below. Apply a generous amount of wood cleaner polish to a rag and wipe every surface of each individual. Cleaning methods depend largely on the material that the roller blinds are made of. Immediately use your towel to soak away as much moisture as possible.

Once a month shut each blind or shade fully and gingerly go over the entire surface in an s pattern using a vacuum set to low suction and fitted with a brush attachment.

Clean the mountings and side tracks of the shades. If your cellular shade is equipped with a track on its sides this will have to be cleaned regularly as well. Get your sponge out of the soapy water and use it to lightly wipe the affected areas. Treat these blinds like wood furniture.
